Badlands

Badlands, you gotta live it everyday - Bruce Springsteen

Took this picture on our vacation this year out west. The Badlands are a beautiful area of our country. I highly recommend the trip out west to see them.

The badlands remind me of the wilderness. Someplace dark and sometimes not a place you want to be. However, you have to move through them to get to your ultimate destination. At other times, the badlands can be awe inspiring.

I guess it's how you get through them is what matters. Isn't that what our parents called building character?
