Burning Observation

One of my kids, doesn't like his food to be burned. He inspects his food each meal for burn. Tonight, we had burgers. He inspected. He said "Dad, this burger has burn on it." I tried to be smart. "No it doesn't, that's seasoning that you see." He looked at me and said "Dad, if it looks like burn and tastes like burn, it's burn." Smart kid.
